The Colombo High-Court announced that the verdict pertaining to the murder of a mother and daughter in Kotakethana, Kahawatte to be given on 28th of this month.


A 63 year old woman and her daughter were killed and burnt in their residence three years ago leading to the trial.

The accused in relation to the murder are three residents of Kotakethana.

The verdict was scheduled to be delivered today however was put off till May 28th by High Court judge Devika De Livera Tennakoon.
