The owners of the Dambulla Viiking say that they will take legal action against the IPG and the Sri Lanka Cricket for suspending the ownership of the Dambulla Viiking team from the Lanka Premier League cricket tournament.
They said this while participating in a news conference on Zoom technology.
The second round of the Lanka Premier League Cricket Tournament is scheduled to begin in Colombo next Sunday with the participation of five teams.
Among them were the Jaffna Stallions and the Dambulla Viiking, who suspended their ownership and sold the tournament to new owners, according to the tournament's IPG in Dubai and Sri Lanka Cricket.
The owners of Jaffna Stallions have previously accused the sale of being arbitrary.
Meanwhile, the owners of the Dambulla Viiking have stated that they will take legal action against IPG and Sri Lanka Cricket for removing their team from the LPL.
