One of the students has screamed
A mason worker has taken the video footage by attaching a stick to the mobile phone in a ladies hostel where student from a leading campus were accommodated in Kohuwala area.
It was reported that a mason worker has taken video footage by attaching a stick to the mobile phone in a ladies hostel where student from a leading Colombo Campus were accommodated in the Kohuwala area.
On noticing a mobile phone attached aimed at them from top of the wall on a stick, one of the students has screamed.
On hearing the scream the matron had rushed to the scene.
By the time the matron arrived the mason has absconded. The mason worker is a resident of Walapana Area.
He was working in the same vicinity on another building complex. Around 35 students are accommodated in the above hostel.
As per the police complaint made by the matron the police conducted investigation and the suspect was arrested. The accused was bailed on a fine of Rs.50000 on two accounts.
