These two victims of the incident are residents of Maskeliya Queensland estate and had gone to bathe in the Maussakele reservoir in the pretext of going to play.
One had drowned and the other had tried to help him and eventually both of them had died.
The bodies were taken by the Maskeliya police for post mortem.
