According to the sources the said girl who was on her way to tuition class had been offered a lift by the person who was driving the Hybrid
He had requested her to take a seat in the front seat. A little later on he had changed his directions and the girl who had realised that he is driving in the wrong directions had told him so. He had then tried to rape this young student.
However the girl had managed to escape and the residents of the area had assisted the police to arrest the suspect.
The investigation carried out revealed, that the suspect is a rugby instructor and working for a private institution, he has nothing to with the Army.
Strict legal action will be taken against the suspect under the grounds of attempting to rape, the police further said.
