A 32-year-old doctor and two other in her family died when a cab and a container collided at the Boo Oya Bridge along A9 road, Vavuniya, yesterday morning.
Dr. Ayomi Sudeshika was working at Ragama, Puttalam and Kalubowila hospitals.
During the unfaithful day she was returning home from a trip to Nuwara Eliya with her husband of 15 months and in-laws.
Her loved ones said that she was a dedicated doctor. Her death is a real tragedy.
