Minister P. Harrison says that approximately 20 seniors of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will contest from  United National Party in the upcoming general elections.

He said this at a press conference held in Anuradhapura


Minister P. Harrison said "More than 20 senior members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party have already expressed willingness to go ahead with the United National Party. Minister S B Navinna Treasurer of Sri Lanka Freedom Party  just joined UNP. Very soon there will be another group joining the UNP. They are going to flock around the United National Party as they all know Ex-President Mahinda Rajapaksa can not give them any more opportunities where as . Ranil Wickremesinghe can show you all many opportunities and anyone can join UNP in the upcoming elections.
