The Kuliyapitiya Magistrate Jayaruwan dissanayake today ordered the Police to remand a suspect, who was held on the charge of throwing acid on a 26-year-old woman, in 15-day custody.


The acid attack was unleashed on a 26-year old woman at the Kuliyapitiya area on last Tuesday.

The remanded suspect is a resident of Wennappuwa.
