A group of people have demolished a pub located in Dayaraba junction in Bandarawela-Welimada route last night.

A young man who was severely injured after being attacked in the pub on 31st December has passed away in Badulla base hospital last night.


A protest held on 04th demanded to arrest the suspects of the incident. The departed is a 27 year old.

Two suspects who were arrested regarding the incident were remanded after been produced before courts.
