The Police arrested Ajith Priyantha aka ‘Chandi’, the suspect for shooting two people in Angunukolapalassa, while hiding in Barawakumbuka area yesterday.

The dead have come to Chandi’s house to kill him on 2nd January.


Chandi has attacked the gunman with a hoe and shot them from the T 56 they brought.

The dead are reported to be residents of Uswewa, Tangalle named Mallikarachchige Deepa Pushpakumara (35) and Samarasinghe Siriwardena Chandana (25).
