Former Minister and Parliamentarian Johnston Fernando further remanded till 11 May after being produced before Kurunegala Magistrate’s court today, Police sources stated.


Former minister Fernando was arrested yesterday by Police Financial Crime Investigation Division in connection with allegedly removing 5 million 275 thousand 316 rupees worth goods from Lak Sathosa outlets without making any payment.

Speaking to Hiru Gossip, famous Sri Lankan singer Samitha Mudunkotuwa stated that the truth will be victorious one day.
