The news of a futile attempt of abduction of a five year old boy to be sacrificed in a treasure hunt is reported from Eppawala- jungle in Amunukola area.
Two unknown persons have come to the house the other day (10) at around 7pm inquiring about the woman’s husband. Afterwards they had attempted to abduct the child.
Somehow the mother of the child has been able to prevent the abduction.
