A 12 year old boy died today amidst a clash between two groups at a music concert at Kapudoowa grounds in Matara –Thihagoda area.
The death was caused by a slash on the neck with a knife.
The diseased Hashan Dananjaya had gone to the concert with his mother and elder sister. When a clash broke out between two groups the boy had been slashed.
Three youths aged 18-19-22 has been arrested by the police after being apprehended on suspicion by the crowd present at the concert.
Another has been hospitalized after been injured in the clash the police reports the three suspects aged 18-19-22 have been produced before the Matara magistrate court and remanded till the 4th of November.
