The Navy officer who was apprehended at Thangalle has divulged vital information about the main suspect of the murder incident Iron Ranasinghe alias SF Lokku.
27 persons have been arrested in connection with the Anuradhapura night club owner’s murder.
The Anuradhapura police headquarters officers arrested two suspects in connection with the murder who were resident of Anuradhapura. The Anuradhapura Magistrate Courts has issued an order to the controller of Immigration and Emigration to prevent the main suspect of the Karate Wasantha murder case Iron Ranasinghe alias SF Lokka to leave the country.
On information revealed by him the police reports that on the night of the incident the night club owner had observed the attack on the night club through CCTV camera from a another room and had come to rear of the nightclub.
The group of attackers surrounded Karate Wasantha and had assaulted with wooden clubs and swords.
They also have hacked his face with an axe and injured his face severely.
