She had gone for a checkup for her pregnancy at the Nawalapitiya District Hospital.
This girl had been brought up at her mother’s sisters house after the death of the mother’s sister this girl had a love affair with the deceased’s husband who is her uncle.
The Ginigathhena police has launched an investigation into the matter on a petition received from the area.
The uncle has stated to the police that he is prepared to marry her the girl also had stated the same and that she is in love with her uncle. Since she is a minor and the law does not permit the marriage of an underage the girl has been camped and was hospitalized due to an illness.
