The two suspect had entered the shop at around 5pm the day before yesterday one of them was wearing fully covered helmet while the other was wearing only a mask.
They had kneeled the sales girl and looted the shop as well as the jeweler the girl was wearing.
The suspects had arrived in a motor cycle. The police stated that they have received information that the motor cycle was also a stolen vehicle from Kuliyapitiya area.
The incident was recorded in the CCTV camera fixed at the shop
