Kondaya keeping mum
Suspected pupil & father re-remanded
The 17-year old student and the other suspect of the Seya Sadevmi murder were further remanded until the 2nd of October. Kondaya too is in remand under strict security.
It is revealed that the DNA test report of the two other suspects have not reached the Court as yet.
The main suspect of the Seya Sadevmi murder, 32-year old Dunesh Priyashantha alias Kondaya has been remanded till the next 5th. Also it is mentioned that high security is imposed on Remand Prison in Negombo where he is detained.
The reason for this security is reported to be the potential threat to Kondaya’s life due to the strong disapproval of other detainees to the deed perpetrated by him.
Also it is said that Kondaya is keeping silence and that other detainees keep passing his cell eager to have a glimpse of him.
