A two and a half year old child in Pasgoda-Ritumba in Matara who had been admitted to the Kamburupitiya-Aandapana Base hospital over a urine infection has died in Matara General Hospital over rabies.
 
The child had been admitted on last 15th saying the child suffers from a urine infection.
 

Mother of the deceased child says the doctors gave the child an injection for urine infection and also for a germ in the head.
 
Later, the child has died in Matara hospital and the doctors have said that the child died of Rabies.
 
Yet, according to the parents of the child, the Coroner’s report says that the child has died of Pneumonia.
