Shihan Mihiranga had revealed his true condition after getting recovered from Dengue fever, speaking to a newspaper.
Shihan what happened to you?
I became ill with fever. Now somewhat ok. Doctors advised me not to talk even. They told me to take rest. Actually, it is difficult to talk.
As Shihan was not in a good condition to talk, we talked with his wife, Geshni.
Actually what happened to Shihan?
Shihan got fever before 10 to 12 days. He felt body pains. Then we took him to the hospital and there we got to know he has Dengue fever.
How is Shihan now?
Now he is feeling better. He received treatments at a private hospital. Anyway, doctors advised him to rest at least for one month and he was asked not to talk much.
He had to be in the ICU also, right?
Yes. Shihan had got a risky stage of Dengue. So he was admitted to the ICU. He was there for three days.
Does he consume food well now?
Yes he does, but not a lot. Doctors asked not to give him red food. Other foods are ok to give. He does not usually eat much.
Did his artist friends visited him?
Some of them visited. Anyway, doctors told to limit the number of visitors since he is very weak yet.
I was always there with him. I thank all the hospital staff for helping us in various ways.
