The victim of the incident is identified as Ranepura Hewage Gunarathne (76) who is a resident of Yakkalamulla , Galle.
UPFA candidate Manusha Nnayakkara expressed his views today at a media briefing held in Galle.
" A very unfortunate incident took place as we were travelling from Imaduwa towards Galle. A motor cyclist met with an accident as he tried to overtake a bus. I requested the assistance of the crowd to help the victim. Someone who was around had recorded the incident had released it on to the Internet. Different people with various intentions are trying to take the upper hand during the election."
