Thajudeen's body will be exhumed today (10) as per the court order issued. The body was found inside his vehicle near Shalika grounds in Narahenpita and during that time it was said that the death has occurred due to an accident.
As of now the investigations had revealed that it is not due to any accident, and Thajudeen was murdered.
The accusations of murder made against the Rajapakse family was recently denied by former MP Namal Rajapakse and former President Mahinda Rajapakse expressed his views as follows.
" It is very important to carry out investigations on this murder. The authorities have decided to investigate on this matter during the election time to take political upper hand. unbiased investigations should be carried out and the truth should be exposed to the public. "
