A 33-year-old man by the name of John Peter Regan was stabbed to death by four people at Jampettah Street in Kotahena on the 5th of August around 1.15PM, police said.

The investigations revealed that the suspects had arrived in a three-wheeler and the suspects have been identified by the police.


Amongst the 4 suspects 2 are from the same family and according to the reports the victim of the said incident is charged with murder.

The reports say that the suspects have murdered him as a way of getting revenge.
