I even sing in the bathroom..
Umariya Sinhawansa is a singing star who is shining brightly on the stage of Sri Lanka’s ultimate reality show Hiru Megastars.
Representing Sooryans at the Hiru Megastars she showcased her breathtaking singing talents, and even won the hearts of judges who hit the Golden Buzzer.
The 25-year-old star in an interview with a newspaper was asked if she was Sinhalese. She replied saying that they were Sri Lankan.
“My mother and father’s Sinhawansa generation is coming from Indonesia,” she said.
The star even went on to say that she would sing all the time. She is a bathroom singer too, she revealed.
When asked about Hiru Megastars programme she said that she got the opportunity to reach fans by singing Sinhala songs on the show. “I had to dance and act in the programme. I danced and performed on this show after doing so at school,” she said adding that she received a high response to her performances at Hiru Megastars.
