Attending a meeting held in Matale area , the former minister Janaka Bandara had worshipped the former president Mahinda Rajapakse to show his tribute to him in the midst of a big round of applauds from the gathering.

There had been previous incidents of the former minister Janaka Bandara  where he got emotional and  broke down in to tears while addressing the public.


He also made a special statement addressing the gathering in Matale. As he tendered his resignation recently he had written the same in the form of a poem.
