Over 100 employees attached to a garment factory in Negombo has lodged a police complaint that they were lured into a financial fraud of nearly Rs. 20 million.

They claimed that a woman, who also worked at the factory, who collected money for a Seettu (a traditional community financial mechanism) but failed to pay them back.
