Pooja Umashankar is the Indian beauty who captured the hearts of Sri Lankan fans. We were told that she faced an unexpected situation recently.
Her Facebook page was updated to ‘Remembering’, a feature used to maintain a FB account after one dies.
We spoke to Pooja about the incident.
“Someone wanted to send me straight to heaven by updating it as ‘Remembering’. I have allowed my brothers and sisters to use my account. Those who are very close to me have done this.
“They might have thought it was a joke. But it is not very pleasant to do things like these. Do not play with lives like this.
“My father is a heart patient. I was at a meeting and my phone was switched off when this happened. So there was a possibility for my father to get sick as a result.
“Who will be responsible for that? I love everyone.. It is not nice to do things like this to me when I take them home and even give food to eat.”
