The parents had managed to hand over a child abuser who had entered the school premises in Wennappuwa Nainamadama.
The police informed that the suspect had touched the students and showed off the genitals to them and the students had informed the principal.

The suspect is a 40 year old resident of the Galayaya area. Previously the principle of the school had kept the parents informed of the incident .


As the students identified the suspect while he was attempting to enter the school on the 20th the parents had got together and handed him over to the police..

The parents had requested the police to take necessary legal action against this child abuser. The Inspector of Wennappuwa police criminal investigation unit , Saman Dissanayake along with his team is carrying out further investigations on this incident.
