Prior to taking the corpses to the cemetery for cremation, the villagers had tried to take them to the Welimada Town while the police intervened and stopped them from taking it to the town.
The police had resolved the situation by arresting 4 villagers who were disrupting. Later the villagers took the corpses towards the Ambagahakumbura cemetery in order to carry out the cremation, however they didn't cremate the two bodies until the 4 people were release on bail.
The following video shows what the villagers did at the cemetery without attending to the cremation until the 4 villagers were released.
