Tillakaratne Dilshan played his final ODI for Sri Lanka in Dambulla International Cricket Stadium yesterday.
 
A large number of his fans flocked at the stadium to watch his play.
 

Australia edged out Sri Lanka by two wickets to spoil Tillakaratne Dilshan’s farewell and go 2-1 up in the five-match series.

 

Opting to bat first, Sri Lanka were all out for 226 with four balls remaining.

 

Dilshan’s fluent 42 in his one-day swansong was the second highest score and he will play the two T20 matches against Australia next month before retiring from international cricket.

 

The beloved cricketer did not forget to go to his fans and greet them before calling it a day.
