Hiru Gossip met the man who make the clothes these gracious animals wear.
 

Mr. Thadani has been decorating elephants for over 46 years now. He said that he works around the clock with little rest to make the clothes.

In addition to the Kandy Dalada Perahera he makes elephant clothes for other key processions.
