A special ceremony was held to commemorate 25 years of political service by Western provincial Council Chief Minister Isura Devapriya in Colombo yesterday.

The ceremony was held under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena.


Addressing the gathering, General Secretary of the SLFP Minister Duminda Dissanayake noted that the SLFP was established by S.W.R.D. Bandaranaike on behalf of the oppressed class in the society.
