Cabinet spokesman Minister Rajitha Sirisena says that he had informed of the objection arose from public while issuing nominations for the former president Rajapakse.

"The president is aware of the objection of the public  over this decision" said Minister Rajitaha to the media at a press conference held to communicate the cabinet decisions


The journalists asked about the discussion between President Sirisena and civil organizations with regard to the issuance of  nomination to the former president.
