Former MP R Duminda Silva states that accusations are leveled at him because he is helping the public.

Former MP R. Duminda Silva made this comment when media queried him when he visited the Mahaweli Centre premises yesterday where the UPFA nomination list was signed.


Signing of UPFA nomination lists took place at the Colombo Mahaweli Centre premises yesterday.

Media queried the former MP regarding certain factions who were accused receiving nominations.

Former MP R Duminda Silva reiterated that if the allegations leveled against him are proved he would quit the MP post.

He also questioned how helping the public can be an accusation?
