A story of a woman who committed suicide inside her house after 21-days of marriage is reported from Ragala Police division.

The 28-years-old Selvaraja Priyadarshani has committed suicide in this manner on 03rd July.


The deceased is a resident of Gonapitiya Watta area in Kahandapola.

The police had revealed that prior to committing suicide she has informed her friend of the suicide over the telephone.

The husband of the deceased has noticed his wife had committed suicide when he returned home after work.

The post-mortem is to be held at the Nuwara-Eliya General Hospital.
