 A young man from India has slit the throat of his crush when she turned down his proposal in a humiliating manner.
 
The young man has proposed to the university student but she had refused to have a relationship with him. However, refusing to back down the young man has continuously followed her pledging his love.

In a bid to stop him the girl has slapped the man at a railway station and asked him to stop following her.
 
Enraged and humiliated the young man has returned to the same Nungambakkam railway station, several days later, and slit the throat of his love killing her. He had later fled the area.
 
Police arrested the man following a manhunt.
