Sri Lanka Navy has been able to apprehend a rare species of Shark while being transported.

Fourteen-foot long shark had been rescued by Navy Officers of the Wellathanni Naval Base this morning.


Arrested six persons who were involved in transporting the shark and the Navy also have ceased a tractor in which it was transported.
