The chief suspect behind the murder of the nine-year-old girl from Morana area in Mahiyanganaya was remanded till 30th this month.

The child’s final rites will be held at the Morana Public Cemetery this evening.

Malki Sandamali was found dead near a stream in Imakadura area, Morana, on Friday.

She was returning home from school when she was brutally murdered.
