The Hiru Shraddhabi Wandana, organized by Hiru FM and Hiru TV in commemoration of the Poson Full Moon Poya day which signifies the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka by Arahat Mihindu thero commenced short while ago at the sacred, Matale Aluviharaya premises.

Hiru Shraddabi Wandana, is another regular endeavour for the betterment of the Buddha Sasana organized by Hiru FM and Hiru TV which has given priority to Amisa and Prathipaththi pooja as conceptualized by the chairman of Asia Broadcasting Corporation Mr. Rayynor Silva.
Many Dhamma sermons and Dhamma discussions have been included in the Hiru Shraddabi Wanadana Poson Pinkama programme.

A similar endeavor to that of the past years has been organized, where the ordaining of lay children as well as an alms giving to 100 Bikkus is to take place.

Furthermore, an Adishtana Pooja amidst the drums and jasmine flowers is to commence this evening under the patronage of the chairman Mr. Rayynor Silva.
