Everything is ready for Hiru Shaddhabhiwandana programme by Hiru FM and Asia Broadcasting Corporation to celebrate Poson full moon day- a significant day in a Buddhist’s calendar.

This time, Hiru Shaddhabhiwandana programme scheduled for tomorrow, is being held in historic Alu Viharaya in Matale where the Thripitaka was written.


The Asia Broadcasting Corporation that gives a prime position for the well being of Buddha Sasana and dedicated for both Aamisa and Prathpaththi Pooja will facilitate Hiru Shaddhabhiwandana programme through out tomorrow at Alu Vihara premises.

The programme will commence with Sil observation and continue with a number of preaching and religious discussion segments.

Following the past ritual, Hiru Shaddhabhiwandana programme will also facilitate a sacred ordination ceremony and a grandeous offering for another 100 monks.

Hiru Shaddhabhiwandana programme is a virtuous concept of the Chairman of Asia Broadcasting Corporation, Mr. Rayynor Silva.
