Rare Buddhist flower ‘udumbara’ is seen blossoming on a Buddha statue, residents of Kauduwawa area in Godakawela say.
The statue is in a three-wheeler and the flowers were first spotted by its owner. He has then informed priests at the village temple.
A large number of people are reportedly arriving to see the flowers.
