An adjournment resolution regarding the current situation and problems in the educational sector was taken up for debate yesterday.

JVP MP Bimal Ratnayake tabled this adjournment resolution in parliament.


Higher Education Minister Lakshman Kiriella, MPs Bimal Ratnayake, Ramesh Pathirana and Social Empowerment and Wellfare Minister S. B. Dissanayake participated in the discussion.

Minister Lakshman Kiriella stated that an online system will be introduced to complain of ragging in Universities.
