When children fall sick parents would go an extra mile to help them in every way possible.
The story we are about to tell you is about two such parents from Meewagala Village in Orubedhiwewa, Mahiyangana.
Their two children are suffering from a genetic skin disease known as Harlequin-type ichthyosis, which causes the skin to thicken and dry.
To keep them well, their father Punchi Banda sweat day and night doing odd jobs, getting paid for the days job.
He said the medication his children require are extremely expensive and he does whatever needs to be done to get them.
