Video of a couple clashing with security guards at the Independence Square went viral around the country.
The couple agued with the security guards when they were asked to leave the square, as couples were not allowed idle in the place.
However, Min. Harsha de Silva who visited the Independence Square yesterday met the security officials and asked them who gave orders to chase away couples this way. He explained that there was no law on this regard.
