A domestic help had sexually abused a two-year-old child who was under her care in Mirihana area.

The child was taken to a hospital when he suddenly fell ill and did not communicate properly. Following several checkups it was found that he was abused in an unnatural way.



However, by then the help had fled the house stating that she was getting married.

The Police Children and Women Protecting Authority are investigating into the incident.
