In a recent press conference, Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake accused MP Salinda Dissanayake over a fraudulent transaction of 37 million rupees from Lanka Putra Bank.
During the press conference, the Deputy Minister also contacted the astrologer Sumanadasa Abeygunawardana over the phone and washed dirty linen including the revelation of which craft performances against President Maithripala Sirisena.
However, MP Salinda Dissanayake held a media briefing in Kurunegala yesterday and noted that a case will be instituted against the Deputy Minister Ranjan Ramanayake over the false Lanka Puthra accusation.
The MP’s suit will be filed seeking Rs 50 million in damages for defamation.Make a Comment
