A Google Loon Balloon has fallen in Pupuressa area, Gampola last night.
The balloon was launched in South America and has successfully reached Sri Lanka. In Google’s initiative, called ‘Project Loon’, three balloons were to be tested.
First of them reached Sri Lanka airspace on Monday (15).
The Loons promises to provide total internet coverage to Sri Lanka with cheaper data service rates.
