The former Chief Executive of Carlton Sports Network (CSN) Yasara Abeynayake to be arrested over illegal transactions. Financial Crime Investigation Division is inquiring into the matter.
It was proven that a capital of US 2.3 million dollars from a foreign country was obtained via illegal transactions to kick start the company, Minister of Law and Order and Southern Development Sagala Ratnayaka said in a press release.
Yoshitha Rajapaksa, Rohan Weliwita, Kaushan Dissanayake, Ravinath Fernando and Nishantha Ranathunga were arrested in connection with the case. Ms. Abeynayake is currently out of the country.
