However, Sri Lanka witnessed a number of instances when Policemen violate their duty and play a low role.
The Police affirms that the traffic law is rightly enforced in the country and treats everyone equal despite the power and designation.
Hiru News received a video of Policemen violating traffic law where general public is fined and sent through legal processes while Policemen can just ride as they wish- just because they are Policemen.
