Renowned actors Sanath Gunatilake and Cletus Mendis have met with an accident near Borella area recently. The duo has been on their way to Negombo with few others amidst thunder showers.

Cletus Mendis has been driving when he has let another vehicle to pass their car. The car has slipped and fallen into a drain putting Sanath Gunatilake into the ditch.


Neither car nor passengers have been damaged or injured.

Sanath Gunatilake has made a comic remark after the incident, referring to his and Cletus’s zodiac sign- Virgo, for fortune tellers claim that stars conspire against Virgo these days.
