Bodu Bala Sena Secretary Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera requests the government to impart knowledge to Monks with regard to the law of the country.
The Thera expressed these views to media following his release after receiving bail yesterday.
Ven. Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera who was remanded was released on bail last evening.
Homagama Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake granted the release of the Thera on a bail of two hundred thousand rupees.
The magistrate further ordered the Thera, not to influence witnesses and not to make various statements in public.
Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara Thera was remanded in connection to the case of journalist, Prageeth Ekneligoda where his spouse Sandya Ekeneligoda was threatened in the court premises.
